 Article 370 Verdict - Supreme Court Calls for Restoration of J&K Statehood The Supreme Court of India has recently passed a monumental verdict on Article 370, calling for the restoration of statehood and an elected government in Jammu and Kashmir. This landmark judgment has major implications for the future of J&K as well as center-state relations in India. Introduction to Article 370 and its Abrogation Article 370 was a constitutional provision that granted special autonomous status to Jammu and Kashmir. Under this article, J&K had its constitution, flag, and autonomy over all matters barring defense, communications, and foreign affairs. However, in August 2019, the central BJP-led government unilaterally abolished Article 370 through a presidential order. The Government of India has honored four personalities with the Padma Vibhushan award this year, including India's first Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat Sir.The name of former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh is also included. Gita Press Gorakhpur chairman Radheshyam Khemka as well as singer Prabha Atre are also involved. At the same time, 17 celebrities were honored with Padma Bhushan, including Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Cyrus Poonawalla, owner of Serum Institute, which makes Corona vaccine. Along with this, 107 celebrities were also honored with the Padma Shri, including the name of Olympic Gold Medalist Neeraj Chopra. 

भारत सरकार ने इस साल चार हस्तियों को पद्म विभूषण पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया है जिनमें भारत के पहले चीफ ऑफ डिफेंस जनरल बिपिन रावत सर है | पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री कल्याण सिंह का नाम भी शामिल है | गीता प्रेस गोरखपुर के चेयरमैन राधेश्याम खेमका और साथ ही साथ गायिका प्रभा आत्रे भी शामिल है | वहीं 17 हस्तियों को पद्म भूषण से सम्मानित किया गया जिनमें गूगल के सीईओ सुंदर पिचाई और माइक्रोसॉफ्ट के सीईओ सत्य नडेला और कोरोना वैक्सीन बनाने वाली सीरम इंस्टिट्यूट के मालिक cyrus poonawalla भी शामिल है | इसके साथ 107 हस्तियों को पद्म श्री सम्मान से भी सम्मानित किया गया जिसमें ओलंपिक गोल्ड मेडलिस्ट नीरज चोपड़ा का नाम भी शामिल है |
